Pay no Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) on electric vehicles
The Australian government has provided individuals and businesses with an additional incentive to go green. From 1 July 2022, certain zero or low-carbon emission cars including, battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and plug-in hybrids with a retail price of less than $91,387 are FBT-exempt, making leasing an even more financially compelling option.
